Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. He is a mixed-race child of Manny James as well as Patty James. He has an Nigerian father and a Caucasian mom. He graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School. In 2015, he graduated with the Bachelor of Economics degree at Wake Forest University. James became famous after he appeared on screen for his debut as a reality show star in The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was picked to be the season's 25th bachelor on The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The season premiered in 2021.
